History

Amzee-Bokmakierie Guest House was built by the owners from scratch. The premises was hand picked by Koos and Ria in 1997. Building commenced in 1998 in various stages, the last phase adding a 9 meter swimming pool.

The result being an unspoilt 180 degree view of the Indian Ocean with Boggoms Bay and Vlees Bay seen in the distance.
Natural fijnbos still grows on the premises and the porcupine occasionally visits the garden, feasts on the bulb plants and drops us a business card in the form of one of its needles.
Between the sea and Amzee-Bokmakierie you can still see the bushbuck grazing - surely enough reason to build a guest house in this beautiful nature conservancy.
